In my limited experience, I've never seen a seriouse sled pulling truck that's a regular cab... even the really hopped up tube frame trucks.
Do extended cab trucks have a distinct advantage over regular cab trucks if both are equiped with a long bed?
I know you want to get the weight forward, and an extended cab would have a little more weight forward, but wouldn't it be better to use weights because you can get them out further where the weight has more effect?
I'm considering buying a regular cab truck in the near future because I don't like LWB trucks for driving around town (plus I don't have any kids), and I'm wondering if that would be a marked disadvantage if I wanted to seriously persue sled pulling.
I don't know a whole lot about this, so please explain it like I'm a dummy. :-laf
