Frantz filter installation

I bought a Frantz filter and am wondering where everybody is mounting them and how ya'll connected them.



I'd like pics if possible.



How hard it is to service the filter?

I mounted mine on the fender well just below the passenger side battery. Remove the air filter/turbo hose and there is reasonable access. The mounting bracket has enough stand-off to clear the battery and the filter sticks straight up. I ran the return line to the oil filler cap. Changing the filter is not that big a problem with the air filter hose removed.

It looks to me like it would be easier to get the filter out with the handle down. But then you make a mess. with the handle up the TP roll(filter media) looks like it would be hard to get out in one piece.



Where did you tap for the feed and return? a rough harware list would be nice



I have a bmk-15 and am going to install the Frantz to see if it gets the soot out better.



I'd change the filter every 3k for 69c.
