The mounting bracket on my filter kit broke on one side through the center of one of the mounting holes. I attached the filter to the back side of the air horn just above the fuel filter canister. This happened in less than three weeks of the original install. The bracket is mounted with three good quality hose clamps around the air horn, and with a piece of rubber floor matt between the bracket and air horn to give some vibration reduction. Aparently not enough. The broken area was not through the hole that the filter was mounted to, but through one of the un used holes. Every one please check their brackets, this could be bad news if a filter came loose or a line came in contact with something hot or moving. Luckily I was near my shop when I noticed the problem and was able to fab a new bracket from some 8ga ss flat stock. MODERATOR can you foward to all forums ? Thanks Ray

Three hose clamps around the airhorn on a vibrating diesel engine, what kind of mounting system is this supposed to be anyway ??
