Yeah, I think that would probably work. I can't look at the truck right now. It's my wife's truck and I'm not all that familiar with it.
I'm also wondering about the return. The cap has a single raised section across the top so you can grip it. I don't know if there are any aftermarket flat-top oil caps. One idea I have is: The oil fill cap is at the top of a long tube that bolts to the engine. I'm thinking of removing the tube, and drill and tap it for a fitting.
