Another Jeep Grand Cherokee!

Cub Cadet 7275 tractor frame issue

I’m so used to seeing a double rail at min. I almost want to blame that single rail for cracking.

Most highway Class 7 and 8 trucks have single frame rails. It's the heavy haulers like dumps, mixers, refuse and loggers that have double or even triple frames...

I see the packing list on the rail. Where is the UPS label?:D

Them ol brown shirts would have a fit if that was sticking out the back doors of the package wagon....:D

Actually they are made at the frame rail plant in Mexico per serial number and then shipped on a flatbed. Service Cabs come the same way...Gliders are reverse towed behind other new decked trucks....

So could those Huck fasteners work for a frame repair like Mark just went thru? Being mindful of the precision of his repair parts he had made up? Or are they just for mating of brackets and supports to the primary rail?

We use very similar fasteners yet no where near the size for our assemblies, talking fractions of a fraction of what a real frame would need.

At $14k I could see that being like $300 per day rental unit, if there was such a thing. Seems like we can rent almost anything in our industry. Out of my league on something like that.

They would work if you could get them out through the box frame. That would be the challenge..

What a repair it would be though....

Yeah I just thought about that posted up some single sided stuff in his thread that came up on YouTube after watching the Huck videos.

It's all pretty cool stuff. Thanks for sharing these. Never read this thread before today, never knew about those exact fasteners.
