freon leak?

Posting again for a friend.



2003 2500 truck with very low freon. Blows cold on driver side only.



Is there a common location for freon to leak on these trucks?



He just wants to exhaust other things before he needs to tear into the dash to check for broken cables/doors.

It takes a very small loss of refrigerant to cause the differential side to side due to the flow through the evaporator. Add some leak detection dye and a bit of 134 and it will show eventually. No need to guess.
