ok so im crusing my favorite store (kragen) and i go down the isle where they have all kinds of additives and one caught my eye it was for limited slip diffs. said it inceases something or another and was basicaly a friction modifier. well ive been reading on here that w/ a synthetic oil you offten don't need this my question is i have redline syn i don't know which one it is since the guy i bought the truck from had already put it in there and i never bothered to ask (too excited about other stuff) im wondering now if maybe this stuff wouldn't be so bad. my ls feels almost like a locker now and i probably don't need it but its not expensive and im courious so ya'll let me know what ya think

I changed my lube to RP and after that my rear end would clunk when turning while backing up. I went to the dodge dealer and bought a 4oz bottle of additive and wound up putting in about 2oz. not more clunking. RP said it was already added, but it was not enough. I can still lay two black patches.

fritction modifier is for the clutch plates in limited slip diffs. it makes them slip a little to prevent chatter and popping from the clutches.

ok well this stuff said it would make my ls work better as in more positive ''lock up''. also i should add that ive noticed that sometimes when i turn real sharp and sometimes put power to it(very little) it will buck like a locker
