I started modifying my truck in October last year. It is a "95 Auto 2500 and was stock to begin with. I made several runs when stock to get a baseline reading before I made changes. Stock, I made 132 H. P. and 326 Ft. /lbs of torque. On Friday, with new 215's, a TST #6 plate, AFE filter, timed at 18. 5* and the head is ported and polished on the exhaust side. I made 309 H. P. and 751 Ft/lbs of torque! My EGT never goes over 1050* and I make 32# of boost on the dyno. I also make very little smoke when driving! I still have the stock WH1C turbo also. I am thinking about EDM injectors now. I don't want clouds of smoke every time I open it up. I'm happy for the time being!

No, there aren't any dynos in my area that can handle a dually. And I suspect the timing has slipped on the old 95 due to egt issues. I've ordered the necessary Snap on items to check/set timing, then I may travel to a dyno just to see where things are.

Hey ronco do you have any transmission mods i have a tst 6, afe, 3k spring kit, and mystery switch, and waiting to install a 16 CM housing.

Yes, I have transmission mods. My mechanic has worked with a local shop to update the trans and has had his own T/C built to handle far more power than I am making.

Moparguy, my dyno requires all duallys to remove the outboard tires to fit on the rollers. Not a big deal, he just lifts the trucks and pulls the tires off long enough to get readings.

Just out of curiosity have you taken care of the dowel pin yet?

I just read the post the new member wrote detailing his woes.

That should be everyones first BOMB with that year truck.

The dowel pin is cured. I pulled the front cover off, drove the pin back in and peened the bore to prevent the pin from moving again.
