A friend of mine has a friend that works for a major seal manufacturer. The guy was down visiting and told my friend that there are lots of seal problems to come. It seems, according to his story, that the EPA recently banned 3 chemicals that were used in seal manufacture to control shrinkage and elasticity. I have no way to confirm or deny this but hopefully someone will be able to check it out.
