friend with a problem

..we are remodeling our baths and the tile setter has a 2008 ctd that he's having problems with. Maintenance has not been .He has not been really been towing heavy for about a year so the diesel particulate filter has completely filled up. He has pulled a boat up to the ski area which is about 8000 ft but it didn't help. Can he pull a heavy load up to silverton, co witch is about 10000 ft aor is it too late. Plus is the turbo in danger in running it too long like this . thanks for your help, Brett

It would not be a good idea to hit the road with a plugged dpf,they do not plug up without a problem,that problem should be fixed before anything else is done

Funny all the big rig dpf's are serviceable. Companies specialize in just doing that for fleets
