Chock and Lock

Does anyone have experience with the firestone or Air Lift front air bags? I've been tossing around the idea of trying them out to see if them help my ride out with my big 11 ft. camper.

I know the keldermans are probably the best, but these firestones are relatively cheap compared to the full replacement. I think I need to break down and get the Rancho 9k shocks, that would probably make me quit trying different ideas.

Yes they are cheaper, but no ware as good. The Firestone or Air lift front air bags are a universal fit, nothing like the specifically designed kit from kederman, theirs takes many more factors into account, not just supplying add capacity. Actually it makes no sense to compare the two to each other, they are that different. The front bags will work, but you will lose the front shocks since they mount in the middle of the front springs. A relocation kit would be necessary, since you need the shocks. I personally like the use of air bags, but do not think they would be that great on the front end, unless it was a comprehensive kit that has a proven record.
