Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Front axle nut size and axle u joint replacement
Does anyone know the size of the big nut on the front axles? Both front u joints are out on mine. I have the ujoints on order (AC Delco 45U0301) I just want to make sure I have everything I need when I get ready to work on it. My truck is 300 miles away at home or I would just go out and measure it. I plan on using lots of penetrating oil and longer studs with a big hammer or possibly an air chisel/longer stud contraption to seperated the hub from the knuckle. If anyone else has any helpful suggestions please let me know.
