I received an email today from Roy at Mag-Hytec. They are planning to release a front axle cover later this year!

Sky, my question to them was: will the Dana 60 cover fit the front, if not, do you have any plans for a front axle cover. They didn't tell me whether the Dana 60 would work. Since they didn't, I assumed (& we know what happens when you do that)that it wouldn't.

For about 98+ % of us, that'd be an item for looks only, due to the reality of the good-bad surface driving proportion..... HOWEVER!!!
It's gonna be on my "4th-priority 'coolness-enhancing'" page of "gottahavitz" #ad

Forrest & Rich: While you say that a Mag-Hytec cover for the front axle would be for looks only, I wasn't thinking so much about increased cooling as I was about the ease of maintenance in changing out the oil. A drain plug will most certainly aid in that regard.

You got that right Rich. I asked @ the Mag-hytek booth @ May madness 2 yrs ago & he said, "well, it would be for looks only". I responded, "is it ready yet?" #ad
