2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Front axle info?

Ok well here it is I have an 02 2 gen body style with a D60 up front, the D60 does not have the vacuum actuated 4x4 on the axle. Anyone know the deal on this? I thought they all had that set up?

from what i understand half way through 02 they ran out of the CAD units and went to a standard dana 60 since they were switching to AAM the next year
