Well I was trying to be careful but things always tend to go wrong. I had dropped the bearing and disc assemble(right side) while I was taking it apart. An oil leak developed. How hard is it to get the old seal out for a new? I read the service manual and those darn special tools keep popping up. Can it be done without the special tool?

I agree with waiting. I replace mine when I replaced my axle u-joints. It was not leaking. I just thougt it would be a good idea since I was already in there. After I got it out I wished I had left it alone. I made a tool like the one shown. I put it all back together and after about 500 miles it started to leak. It leaked off and on for about 1500 miles than quit. It has been dry now for about 3000 miles.
