Front axle shafts seals

I just did my ball joints and the right side is leaking. When I pulled the right shaft out some oil came out so it might be left over from that. My questions is how hard is it to do and is there a write of it somewhere? Thanks again for any info. FYI truck has 150K now.

The ring gear and carrier must be removed,The seals are installed from the inside out,

Let it go for a couple thousand miles and see if it stops. You might just luck out.

I'm with SAG, leave it alone for a couple thousand miles.
You have a good chance that it is oil left in the Axle Tube - or that it stop to leak from itself.

The seals on the 9.25 are easier than the Dana IMHO if that's any consolation
