Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Ordered the full upper and lower ball joint package from Quad4x4.com. and did the full replacement yesterday. Quick recommendation to my fellow TDRs, order the tool package and take the 15-minutes to watch the video because it's actually a pretty easy job.
My experience - 7 hours of labor that included 3 torched-out ball joint, (2) 4" impact extensions destroyed (sledge hammer method), and replacement of U-joints.
My comments - Purchase the kit with tool package because it has everything you need to do the job. Replace the U-joints while you have the front drive shafts out (it's easy and worth it). Rent, borrow or steel a hydraulic press for the joints - - Dodge must've welded mine in because they wouldn't come out with the screw-type press.
Now I'm happy with no more clunks, shakes, wander (so far) or vibration !
