Could someone tell me where to get either steel or stainless steel braided front brake lines? Don't want to have to change any fittings, just a simple replacement. '99 2500 4x4 auto CTD

SteveGeorge, I just purchased a kit made by Russell from Summit Racing. They are braided Stainless steel and the kit for three lines was just over $100. I couldn't use the rear stainless line as my truck has a rear preportioning valve and the fittings weren't included in the kit for the rear. The front lines are a direct replacement for the stock rubber ones. I also replaced the bleeder screws with the Russel speed bleeders as they are super easy to bleed your brakes. You might also try Jegs as Russell is owned by Edelbrock. Hope this helps

EGR brakes has them, but they are spendy. About $187 for a full set. But one thing they have I'm not sure the others do, the fronts have coiled wire guards crimped around the lines where the lines may rub against bolts or frame parts as the wheels steer the truck to keep the stainless braiding from being chafed. This is a good thing. My truck also has the rear proportioning valve and rear ABS and EGR's rear line is compatible with this.
