On older ('97) one ton 2wd's the front rotors/hubs are one piece. I've heard that 2001+ duallys have separate hubs & rotors. If this is true, can I update mine to the newer two piece setup? Or are the spindles and calipers different?

Thanks, Eric

Eric,

I think I'd rather have your setup (one piece) just for the ability to repack the wheel bearings. I think on my 2001 the front bearings are sealed, no packing, no checking, just wait till they wear out and get taken to the cleaners because it's a st... dealer only part:mad: (so far)

I'm pretty sure the spindles are different.

Thanks John, I had no idea they went to a sealed bearing. Maybe I'll just get an exhaust brake to make my current (nearing minimum thickness) rotors last longer!
