2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Front brakes on 2WD

Hi everyone. I need to change front brake pads and rotors. I already got those so I am ready. I understand there are 2 bolts that hold the caliper. Is it the upper one I need to take off to remove the pads? Is there something specific I should know before I start? Thanks. Ilian

Remove two bolts, the one's with the rubber around the head, they are 3/8" female hex on 99 but yours may be torx drive fasteners. bg

Thank you for responding. Saturday I'm taking the wheels off to do the job, and I'll find out if I have the torx drive. If so I'll have to go buy those, I do not have it.
