Tried doin a search, didnt come up with much.

Im needing to replace the brake rotors on my truck, and was wondering if any of you guys are running any aftermarket performance type rotor? If so whered you get em, and how you like em?

tx_fireman1525,

I don't have them but am seriously considering them on my next brake job. Check out lagunaspeed.com. I saw their ad in Diesel Power magazine and they offered slotted and cross-drilled rotors. Hope this helps.

Aloha,

Matt

lagunaspeed.com doesn't offer any brake upgrades for the 1st gen's. i have yet to find anyone that does, but would like to.

If your rears are adjusted and kept adjusted (crawl under there yourSELFand ADJUST them every oil change), the OEM style rotors should hold up just fine. Finding true rotors is another story- nearly impossible. I've had 2 new ones that vibrated out of the box, and they dont have much room for machining.

Stanbery,

Would it be even worth it to have a set of rotors machined with slots or cross drilled? I was so hoping lagunaspeed.com had something.
