Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Trans temp

Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Total Shut Down While Running

I bought a 1999 24 valve 4x4
I ordered drilled and slotted rotors and pads off of E bay
And calipers only thing that seems like it fits is the pads
According to E bays fit mit ment the rotors fit both
2500 and 3500 and the rotors fit loosely but I believe may tighten up once the wheels are on
However the calipers don't fit over the rotors stock or the E bay rotors , anyone have any ideas ?

Buying parts like these off of Ebay is a quarter flip. Drilled rotors don't give you that performance that you think. Just plain stock rotors work just fine. A better brake pad can make a huge difference. I am using ProStop pads on mine, with stock rotors. Rotors list as same from RockAuto, but it looks like the pads are different between 2500/3500. As are the calipers. Two different weight classes, hence the difference in pads and rotors. You could've gotten "drilled and slotted" rotors from RA as a kit and I bet that they would've fit! Did you even check with RA? Have been using them for around 20yrs and only had 1 issue with a part listing, which they handled with no issues. Don't get caught up with the "low" prices on Ebay. Was it worth it now?

To Topzide's point, I went the Rock Auto route replacing brake lines, rotors, calipers, etc., everything except the ABS module and master cylinder. I try whenever possible to stick with Centric Brake parts. The parts I received were very good quality and are working well. Not saying eBay is a bad place for parts as I get a lot of parts off of eBay but when it comes to my truck, I want to make sure I am getting good quality, genuine parts. In my experience, Rock Auto's prices have been very competitive if not better.
