Hello again... just got one of these without instructions, and I cant figure out if the inserts that came with the screws go into the grill first, then the deflector and the screws last, or if the inserts/screws go in as one piece to hold the deflector on... appreciate the help as always... George now has 20,000miles on him, and is less than a year old, and I'm still as happy as the day the stork/dealer brought him to us :D

I think...

I installed ours last March, but I seem to remember putting the inserts and screws at the same time.

Mine didn't have screws, just 3 plastic pop-rivet thingys that secure it at the underside edge of the upper grille frame. Mine is the OEM body-color piece. Don't recall having any screws

I took mine off for waxing last year. These are the same inserts as they put into the fender liners, at least on the dually. Hold the deflector in position while installing the insert through both the deflector and the grill. Then push the center pin in flush. Repeat with the other three.

Mine had the inserts with screws adn with out screws. One set of inserts with screws and one set with the push in pins.

Note::: the inserts were the same, the difference was the screws vs push pins.

Install the inserts with the screws/ pins in the inserts then tighten screws/ push in pins.
