I'm putting a cam in my 95 ram. the front cam bushing was pitted and i have a new to put in it. Cummins wanted $800 for a cam bushing installer. Can i freeze it to put it in? Does anyone have one that I can rent? or borrow? I tried putting one in with a rubber mallet. that didn't work. I appreciate everyone's help on this in advance. Nick

Your local auto machine shop will have tools. If the bushing isn't real bad, you can continue using it. Get someone with experience looking at them to help you. Might save you some trouble. If you replace the bushing, be sure to line up the oil feed hole.
