I have developed an oil leak at front crank seal area at 132000 mi. my old 95 2500 4x4 318000 no leak. how hard to fix ??do you have to pull radiator to get enough room to remove balancer and replace seal. could it be cumming from somewhere else? I just had the water pump replaced. I will remove fan and take a look after cleaning.

imho go straight to the redisleeved seal kit, did my 99 just pulled the balancer. get the cummins seal from cummins they give u the installer, others dont. , u could cut a piece of 3" exhaust pipe and use that to push it in too but knowing when to stop is key. it is a little tight but can be done with onlypulling the balancer. make sure u clean that area good and have 0 oil on the new seal before installing. u most likely have a groove. imho they should use a double lip seal instead of a sleeve.
