i have a 96 cab and chassis 2WD that i want to convert to 4X4 seeing that its a nut and bolt swap, pretty much all of the dana 60 fronts i see online are retardedly expensive or so far away they almost need to be free to cover the freight. i had a thought the other day i think i am missing only the chunk and axles with the solid axle i already have, the hubs are splined just waiting for axles to be installed, i have access to a dana 60 rear for a center section, any body see a problem with slotting that center into my axle tube punching in inner seals and stock dodge axles? (with appropriate carrier) no hole for CAD so id need to deal with that, would go without but no lock outs unless i changed my 4 year old dealer hubs for free spin units, but they cost 2k which kills the cheapness of building the thing myself, trying to keep from paying 2k for a axle
