I have a 2006, 3500 4WD. The service manual is telling me to lube the front drive shaft fitting. I looked at the U-joints but can't figure out what they are talking about. Can anyone tell me what I am looking for and where?

Thanks!

I'll check on mine in the morning, or afternoon, whenever I get up and get back to you, I think it is a needle fitting near the front

They are microscopic little dots, if you have them. My 05 is suppose to have them, but don't. According to the dealer some had them, some not. Mine did not get that option I guess.

I found mine but only after about the fourth try. I'd look, go back to the manual, then look again. Even with pictures its nearly impossible to see and about as hard to get grease in it.

Has anyone besides me questioned another service spec. in the Dodge owner's manual; the one about draining water from the fuel filter every time you fill the tank? Since I fill up at about 1/4 tank, that's every 300 miles or so.

Latest TSB reiterates draining the WIF. Also, the pictures are floating around here on the TDR for front driveshaft lubrication. I don't drain the WIF but probably should.
