Archived Front Driveshaft out.

We are getting ready to leave on a weekend trip and the front driveshaft has a bad u-joint. Can I just take it of and run without it? I'm pretty sure I can but just wanted a second opinion.

I ran mine with the driveshaft out for three weeks while I was getting everything together to install locking hubs. It doesn't hurt at thing.
