Does anyone know the part number for the front driveshaft of my truck in the sig. below? The Mopar parts sites don't have one listed that matches my truck, '03 HO, 4x4, at, 9. 25 AA. They have some listed for other engines, trans, or just the 9. 25. In the past, I have searched with the part number and it pulls the part up but they don't list the part numbers otherwise.

I would also like to find a parts breakdown site. It makes it much easier to look for and find parts.

Please provide the last 8 digits of your vin #. If you don't want that to be public knowledge then send via PM.

Several of us on here that are parts personnel, will see if we can score you a breakdown.

Pete,

Am digging like a gopher on this driveline thing. My buddies at the local Dodge dealer have the same problem as you, can only identify the assembly part number of 52123326AA.

Worked on it a little last night at home and again this morning in between other projects. I found some parts on American Axle's website/online catalog but it is not a complete breakdown, can't identify the centering ball kit for example.

I have just sent an e-mail to the technical division of American Axle requesting a complete parts breakdown for the 1355 series driveline assembly used in our Dodge Trucks by the part number above.

I will see if I get anywhere with that. :-laf:-laf Never know, worth a try.

Will let you know as I go.

Mike.

I appreciate the effort. I searched 52123326AA and came up with nothing. I plan on calling a dealer for a part number next week.

Thanks to all that helped me on my quest. I have ordered a new front propeller shaft, as the parts manual calls it, and will post again after it arrives to let you know if it is correct or not. I called the local dealer and gave them my VIN and the part number he gave me was 52123326AA and he said that there were a bunch (20+) of superseded part numbers. His price was $374. 00 and he could not come off the price much to match the internet. I ran his number on the Mopar part sites and found it for $252. 00 and $20. 00 for shipping. The Mopar sites show it to be for a 2006-2007 2500/3500 with auto, 9. 25 and cummins or 8. 0l.

Let me know if you find it cheaper so I can #@$%! and have a new place to compare prices.

My e-mail to American Axle was deleted and not opened according to my return reciept. I AM NOT HAPPY!!

I will be sending another one tomorrow.

I hope that someone simply had so many e-mails backed up that they deleted mine by mistake. If not, they will wish that they had never done it.

I like talking to people's supervisors. :-laf

Meanwhile, I contacted the East Coast distributor for AA aftermarket who is Brookline Machine/Williams Brothers. The parts man told me that they never order any AA parts, match up other stuff instead. Sounds strange and if I can get downstate to Portland next week I will go over in person and talk to the shop guys. There has got to be a breakdown of these drivelines with AA part numbers somewhere.

I will try to get some better answers to help us all with future repairs.

Spicer will happily sell any component of their drivelines, can't imagine that AA isn't bothering with the aftermarket???
