any tips or tricks to greasing the double joint ( Iforget the proper name) zerk. Mine took grease the first 3 times no problem, the last two not so much!!!!!!! Any ideas would be apreciated(sp?) I'm trying to avoid the dealership if possible because they are not the easiest to deal with. ( the truck is box stock) Thank you for any and all input/ IT,S AN 05 4X4 QCSB 2500

I replaced my old front drive shaft with a new one with the needle zerk. I could not get greese in it the first time I tried. Doing it by myself, I was not able to apply enough pressure to the needle and still pump the greese gun. That chore has become a family affair. My eight year old son holds the flashlight, I hold the needle to the zerk with as much force as I can muster, and my wife pumps the greese gun. :-laf It has worked three times now.
