Front end Klunk

Installed Luke's link on the end of my track bar tonight to tighten up that sloppy old frond end. It seems to have tightened up the steering okay but I still have a Klunk noise when I come to a stop. It seems like I can feel it under my feet as much as I can hear it. Anyone else had this problem? See my signature for truck info.

Bill, I also have that same clunck from the front and feeling of it under my feet. Can't answer your question but hopefully some one else will be able to and help us both out.

Check the U-joints/ drive knuckles on the front end. Mine were totally shot at 70,000 miles.

I replaced the front U-joints and upper and lower ball joints last month so I'm pretty sure it's something else. Thanks just the same. By the way, they were shot at 79K miles.
