Who makes the 2-inch poly bushings that go on top of the coil springs to make the ride level? i am very interested in getting a set but i don't have a clue who makes them or how much they are. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Chris

Daystar make the poly bushings. There has been talk that these may not hold up well under the weight of the Cummins.

Why poly? There are many MFG's who offer 2" steel spacers.

The owner of DT (the trackbar people) had/has (I don't remember) the poly spacers on his truck and has been very happy with them.

DO it complete and you will be happy

No matter which set-up you go with remember to do it complete with new links. You will like the way it stears with the longer and more stable urethane bushings. I have run Skyjacker springs on my '95 and this '01. Get a DT track bar if you want to see how it should drive from the factory.

DAWG-1,

What links did you get and are they just a tiny bit longer for the 2" lift? I have the 2" front lift and the DT Tracbar but at some point I want the stronger, longer links with urothane bushings.

CumminsPower98, I went with Skyjackers links. Rancho also made a set, I ran those on my '95. Ranchos are square tube with urethane and Skyjackers are round tube with urethane and grease zerks. I have had no problems with either. Make sure you use a quality grease inside and out when installing.

What links (control arms) did you buy?

When I was checking, Ranchos 2" kit included new lower links, but they were the same length as stock, just stronger square tube. The guys as Jackit.com said that the longer control arms are available in the bigger lift kits only, ie Skyjackers 4. 5" kit.

I talked to Tuff Country and they quoted me a price of 119. 00+shipping for their leveling kit. This sounds like a good price to me. I keep trying to look at Jackit's products but their webpage isn't working at the moment. Thanks for the replies guys.

I have the Daystar spacers on mine. Looks great. I have heard concerns about the durability of the polyurethane, but damn they're substantial! I don't worry much about it. Time will tell, I suppose.

You will need longer shocks. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I got talked into buying the stock length shock with them, and they are just not long enough. I had to return them for 2" longer front shocks.

The install is easy. I did it without a spring compressor tool, but I would highly recommend finding one. It will make your life much easier.

I have the Daystar leveling kit 10,000 miles and still have the stock shocks on got the front end aliment done after the install and so far all is good :D
