Front end protectors

I am looking for a front end protector that will keep bugs out of the radiator and also rock chips from the hood. I have heard that the typical lexan "bug deflector" can alter both the mileage and airflow of the truck. I was thinking about a full front mask with the screen over the grill or a hood protector piece with stainless grill inserts for the bugs. Does anybody have a full front end mask? Do you like it? I wish I could find pix of them before I buy.
