My 93 2wd sits a couple of inches lower in the front and I'd really like it to sit level. I'm trying to figure out the best way to achieve this. I remember reading an archive post about heavy duty Moog replacement front springs but I don't remember seeing any actual #'s as far as how much it lifted the front. What about coil spring spacers? Not the type that you push into the coils but rather a actual full diameter spacer that would sit inbetween the spring and the a-arm. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

talks about front end sag and member RAMAZ has some info on the part nubmers. I also have heard that SkyJacker??? has a 2" lift kit for our dodges to level them out. I would rather go with new springs if at all possible because I know mine are getting old and may need replacement within a year or so.

Hey Terry, I have the MOOG H. D. and like them alot. Go to the 1st Gen archives and do a search under my name. I believe it is titled "front end saga". I'm not computer savy enough to find it and post it.

It raised mine about 3/4 of an inch to 1 inch. I based that on the distance between the top of the tire and the fender above it. At the last Lone Star TDR get together another member and I compared height. He is considering the springs, and you could see a definate difference. Mine were sagging worse than his before I changed them. The above post should have the part # with price that I paid. Be sure you get the springs that are for the 4100# axel and you should be O. K.

Forget about the spacer. Dodge offers one for our trucks. It is a piece of rubber the same diameter as the springs and goes on top of the springs. The problem is that your springs are probably shot and adding any type of spacer only crushes the springs more. Been there done that. Mine sat lower on the drivers side due to frame being twisted!!!truck has never been wrecked, had the frame tweaked by a good shop and now it sits fine, still a little lower in the front, but it has a nice rake to it. I leave it alone, mine has always set low in the front.
