I just noticed today that when I slow down to a stop my front end start to shudder and shake and quits right when i stop and maybe a little when I start going again. Please help me only thing I have done is rotate the tires last weekend and thought the front brake pads look good but maybe not any suggestions please. :(

I thought there was a TSB out for Brake Shudder. I'll go look!

Nope, my bad, there is a TSB but it applies to 1500's only.

Does the vibration change with vehicle speed or brake pressure?

No I am running General Ameritrac's. I have about 7500miles on them. The shudder is only when i slow down or only a little when i take off. Do you think I could have over tightend the lugnuts or maybe one of the tires is out of balance or what about the u-joints I have never had any experience with them going bad so I don't what type of symptoms it produces.

If it's most pronounced at slow speeds I would say a stiff u-joint in the steering knuckles or front driveshaft may be the culprit. Try soaking them one at a time with WD-40 and see if it clears up. If it does then replace the joint because the WD-40 won't last for long and the damage is already done.

If the problem was absent prior to the tire rotation, then I'd remove both front wheels and re-install them before doing anything else. Torque the lug nuts to spec (135 on SRW, 145 on DRW I believe).
