2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Front Fender Replacement, how hard?

I did some searches and no one details the job. I am going to get the complete takeoffs from a junkyard so it will with the inner well and outer fender. Will a gasser fender work?



How hard is it to unbolt the entire thing and slap the replacement on?

outer isnt bad but the inner has lots of stuff attached. not impossible just tedious work.

Its really pretty simple. If you can unbolt and bolt back up, and remember where stuff is mounted, then you should have no problem.

Passenger side is a breeze but the driverside has gobs of stuff mounted to it.

Try a trick that my father-in-law taught me. Take pictures of it before you start to take it apart, and as you disassemble. Makes it a whole lot easier to put it back together.

Are gas and diesel fenders different as to where stuff mounts?
