Any of you guys know where to get some nice looking front mud flaps. Geno's has a pretty nice looking set, they're just black with a chrome strip. Are there any other options you guys suggest?

IIRC, the later 2nd gens match up pretty close, and have DODGE imbedded on them. I used them on am '84 I had, but I can't remember if the fender was trimmed or not... ... CRS disease...

I also like the aluminum diamond plate and smooth Stainless Steel. If the truck is pretty shiny, and has some chrome trim or wheels, it sets off the front pretty nice..... PUTCO makes some flat SS ones, and you can trim some with a plasma torch or laser torch to fit how you want..... I have a local company that can make just about anything I want with CAD operated water jet and lasers. They once cut my brands into a set I put on my KW..... Always was nasty, though, with dirt coming through the hole... . Stainless Steel Mud Flaps by PUTCO

For a beater or playtoy, I usually use a heavy black anti-sail mudflap and cut my own with a jigsaw or wire/scroll saw. If they get torn off, it's not much of a loss. Great on trailers, too, so if you have a blow-out it's not a major loss. The large semi-trailer mudflaps will usually cut out 4 single wheel flaps.

Now, I've seen these guys, and always wanted to get them to do some work for me, but I don't have enough trucks to justify the minimum order for the hotstamping. Flap-Art.com - The custom Mud Flap Online Accessorie Source

Thanks guys. HH, I consider my truck a pretty sweet lookin' truck. It shines awesome when you get some wax on it and clean it up and I've got third gen dually wheels with simulators so they're pretty shiny. I'd like to get a set of flat stainless ones. I like the diamond plate but I think it'd be too rough for the truck, I just don't think it would match the truck very well.

Well, I didn't know if you meant for your '92 or not... . A nice, black mudflap would look nice under there, with a small SS trim piece on the bottom, IMO. It'd be easier to attach, and a little more forgiving, should you hit something on the highway.

I didn't think to mention, don't use a soft rubber flap. The SS tip may flip up and tap the cab... be sure to use an anti-sail mat, if you go that way. You can cut out a nice one with a little jig-saw.....

I ended up ordering a set for a second gen off of Geno's. They fit nicely and are pretty rigid, they feel like they would stay on if something big hit them or was hanging on them. I like how they have a lot of shape too, they aren't just flat. I really like how they turned out, I feel like this was a good investment.

Sorry for the dirt I just haven't got around to washing it lately, it's just been raining a lot and I have a gravel driveway.

Don't get too crazy now, haha. I'm likin' the black, they work fantastic too, I drove it in a complete down pour today and there was hardly any muddy watery stuff on the fenders or rockers.
