Front & Rear Wheel Bearings

HEY GUYS I WOULD LIKE TO GET THE CORRECT INFO I HAVE A 99 3/4 5 SPEED 3:54 I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT YOU DO NOT NEED TO REPACK THE WHEEL BEARINGS THIS DOES NOT SOUND RIGHT AND IF SO WHAT INTERVALS. TRUCK HAS 48K ON IT . :-{}

Wheel bearing

On a 4x4, the rears are lubed with the oil from the differential and the fronts are a sealed/lubed for life bearing and do not need repacking.

On a 4x2 I believe the fronts can be re-packed and I would probably do it every 30-40k
