2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Front spring's/leveling ?'s

I was just wondering if anyone know's how much the spring's settle from when a truck is new. My truck is an early 01 and I would like to put a leveling spacer on. My concern is w/ the track bar. I've seen some kit's or lift's that say you don't need to worry about it. If the truck settled say 1 inch from new, the spacer would really be 1 inch over what the truck was when it rolled off the assembly line. If this is right, than can 1 inch really throw off the track bar or the alignment of the axle and it's travel. Maybe I'm thinking to much in to this, but would this make sense? Thank's for any other idea's!
