Hey Satmike!
Welcome aboard the TDR & the First Generation Forum!
I agree completely with "Gene H" and others in regard to the Skyjacker 2 1/2" front springs. I have been running their front springs since Febuary and think it's the best money spent for improved ride quality. I have just done the fronts so far and found that the springs leveled the truck out nicely. It now sits competely flat or trim leaving the OEM rear springs in place and Skykacker Hydro shocks on all four corners. In the future I wish to do the rears for a reported even better ride but have not done this as of yet because of having to drop the tank to access the driver side rear spring mount.
I didn't use a dropper pitman or adjustable drag link in my conversion to the Skyjacker springs. The effect on steering was minimum with maybe an additional 1/2 turn lock to lock. If I was going to the 4" lift I would definately consider both of these parts to be necessary. We also have a First Generation w/ Skyjacker 4" lift and the steering was dynamically effected by this lift.
Skyjacker can be reached @ 318-388-0816 ask for Mickey.
