I have a 91 W350 with a 4500# front axle, With the snowplow elevated the rubber bumpers are nearly on the frame. I think I need new front springs. Has anyone had any experience with replacing these. I am just looking for a weight capacity and source. I will probably try to raise the rear end too, not with springs but with blocks like I saw on a neighbor's 93. Any info will be welcome Thanks Dave

Dave, you can try a spring shop for an 'add a leaf' front. Add a leaf to the front leaf spring pack. Tell them to do like I had done, make the front end of the truck higher than the rear end. This way for now, when you have the snow plow attached, your truck probly will be level, and over time the front add a leaf will settle up to a 1/2". Plus once you go to a 6" block your truck will look good, tall front end, little bit taller rear. I had the 3" rear block. And after my front add a leaf, I didnt look real good, driving around with my front end higher than the rear, but once I added the 6"block it looks good. Heres a pic, front add a leaf, rear 6"block. Bill
