Front Suspension Track Bar Frame Bracket Safety Recall R-46

Has anyone heard of any updates about the R46 recall yet. I still have my recall notice but at my last visit to my Dodge Dealership in early August of 2015 nothing had been decided on for fix and/or replacement from Dodge.

So, I am just wondering if anything has happened or if I am still on a "holding pattern". I am not experiencing any driving difficulties yet, and would like to keep up on this important safety recall.

My truck was at the dealer a couple of weeks ago. I was told there is still no direction on this. I thought in another thread someone had posted that they had this done though.

There have been a couple of threads on the Cummins forum about this, there is an inspection process in place and a TSB for the fix if cracking is found. The threads are long but have plenty of info in them. Your dealer evidently is not up to speed on this.

I was told that I would receive another recall notice when parts became available. I had no cracks when inspected. That was early November.

No cracks, no further action (for now), cracks, welding team is dispatched to dealer for repair. Your dealer just needs to print the recall description on DealerConnect.
