Off Roading Front Sway Bar Link Question

First off, I have a Pro-Comp 4" lift on my 04. 5 2500. I was thinking about putting in some quick disconnect links in for my sway bar and it seemed to me that I could put in some longer than stock links to level the bar back out. Would this have the same effect as Kore's blocks that lower the bar?



My front suspension seems to work fine as is so I guess it's not really necessary but I'm curious if it could be even better.

The only thing I'd look at if you level the bar is how much will it push up when the suspension is fully compressed. If you have alot more up-travel than it did when it was stock, the bar may hit something above it.

You will probably have to have some longer links made as I haven't seen any vendors that carry longer links for our truck just the jeeps.

Personally I would just take the sway bar off. I removed mine a long time ago and still can't tell the difference. Typically the kit you got should have come with sway bar lowering brackets or blocks. I personally stay away from Pro-Comp products but that is just me. My Skyjacker kit came with sway bar lowering brackets but I removed them when I went to my DSS steering box stabilizer and higher lift.

I'm not positive I can make these work but I thought I might me able to make up some 6" disconnects with stuff from this place http://www.tellico4x4.com/catalog/i...age/1?osCsid=372812a57233d5eb2dac61112a3d155a

and level my bar back out.



I'm not a huge fan of Pro-Comp anymore. Definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone but I bought the lift without doing much research so that's what I get I guess. At least I don't have the death wobble I've read so much about here that people seem to get with the leveling kits.
