A limited slip will not last verylong in a front end if you do not have unlocking hub capability.

If you want it for offroad traction it will not do the job when the going gets tough. The best front locker I know of as far as having the best of both worlds is an ARB air locker. Not sure if the cable locker is available for this axle housing or not.

Just sayin that IMHO a limited slip in the front end is a complete waste of time and money and in the end you wont be happy with it

I ran a Tru trac in a Chevy truck(with hubs) and it was a great improvement over the open front end. It takes some wheel speed difference before it locks up

so it was very driveable even in the snow

I tow a 15,000 Lq horse trailer and I current have 3. 73 gears with 285/70-17 A/T Toyos. Found a used set of 4. 10's that I am going to have installed. Next set of Toyos are going to be 285/75-17 A/T because they have an even greater weight rating than the 285/70's.
