Does anyone know of a company that makes front wheel dust covers to elimate dirty wheels on the front? I know they are made for benz and BMW , but I dont know the mfg. Anyone have any info on this. The front wheels are the dirtiest part of my truck and I only get to wash it about one a week now that it is hunting season.

Kleen Wheels

I just submitted a quote request from them so i don't know their price. I know Geno's Garage sells them as well but at the time their website is acting up and won't let me in. Someone posted a lil while back that its cheaper to get it directly from Kleen Wheels... . guess I'll find out when I get my quote back.

Best price I found for Kleen Wheels was from Advanced Auto (cheaper than from Kleen Wheels themselves).

Please be careful using dust shields. Brake cooling is done by airflow moving from under the vehicle to the outside. Dust shields severely choke the air flow and can cause overheating. Being that our Rams are "brake challanged" to begin with, we dont want to add to the problem. Try the auto parts store for some spray-on wheel cleaner and just deal with the dust.

Kleen Wheels has the style for the y2k and up, waited for em, then use 'em. Had them on for about25k and like them. They are "vented" to provide airflow but they keep the brownish/red dust down. Havent had any problems with the brakes and ifn I had the disks on the rear would not be afraid to use em there. They are side to side specific and hard to remove when swapping sides/ends. Dont recall where I got em but the were about 40$.

I am a new Nline6 and did not (I swear) see your very cool handle... is this gonna be a problem? if so I will get a new handle asap!

I had the Kleen Wheels on my BMW. I personally don't like the looks of them (on the car anyway) and the problem is only delayed as the dust starts coming through the vents anyway. In fact, I was so displeased with them I threw them in the garbage.

On my truck, I was getting a lot of brake dust on the fronts even with the manual transmission. After installing an E-Brake, the dust is almost completely eliminated! Furthermore, as BCFAST has mentioned, the cooling is retained without them.
