A week or two ago there was a post on a manual front wheel locker, as usual I didn't put it in my truck file and need to contact them, any help would be appreciated. Thank You! Jack

Hubs

If you mean hubs, there was a write-up in issue 33. The company is Dynatrac. ARB makes a front air activated on demand locker.

Thanks!!

Thanks Dave, thats what I was Looking for. We have been in and out of snow storms for the last month, and at times my rig shows that I'm in 4 wheel drive and it is not, have to give it a strong pull to the rear until it engages. Thanks again. Jack:)

Jack,

It's sounds more like you have the linkage to the transfer case out of adjustment, or a problem inside the case it self. The signal for the dash 4-wheel drive light is on the front axle CAD, so if the light is coming on the front axle has been engaged. If you're pulling back harder its sounds like you're not getting the transfer case into 4-wheel drive. I hope this helps. Bob V

An easy way to check if the front axle is locked is to grab the front driveshaft and see if you can turn it. It turns easily in 2wd mode--Should lock up in 4wd.
