This is going to be a long hard winter here in WI. If my truck sits out for more than 4-5 hours in 5 degree temps or less it starts fine but either the throttle cable is sticking or the throttle position switch has gone bad. After suffucuent warm up it frees itself. It is getting to be a pain in the *&*($#. Not to mention dangerous.
Does anyone have any experience with this. Do I need to replace a cable or can I inject some sort of de-icer?

What kind of truck does you gots? If it's new, I'd take it to the dealer. I haven't had this problem, but it sounds like a throttle cable relacement might be in order. Let us know how this moves along.
