I have not checked prices yet so I have no idea what they cost, but I was just wondering if the the FS2500 is worth the money? Who has one and would you recomend it? I put on about 45,000 a year and ocassionally hit the pull track and drag strip.

I think you'll find most will say ... no. It is pretty pricey compared to other brand by-passes. I'm not one though as I do have one installed. I can't give you much info about it's performance though. I've had it on for about 1500 miles so far.

I plan on a oil analysis at around 6K. From what I've read about them and if their video has any truth to it, I'd say it's a very nice by-pass filter. They've been around for years to in the industrial end of things. If they got it right with that, I don't think our trucks will be a problem. I doubt you could beat it's quality of build... . it's a tank!

here's the install on my truck. I took it a one step farther with the SS lines...

Thanks for the replies all. I will have to do some more searching and give FS a call and price everything out and go from there on my decision. I like the way you installed your system Triton looks awsome.

I have one, and like it. From what I've read, the Frantz TP bypass filter is cheaper and provides better filtration, but it has the disagreeable characteristic of needing to be changed every 2000 miles, which is not something that I would do, but if you like messing with your truck on a regular basis, then it might be a better way to go.
