Fuel additive in a 12 valve

Any suggestions on what to use with the new ULS diesel in the 12 valve's?

I use Power service which you can get almost anywhere. I have convined myself that truck sounds smoother and gets a little better mileage.



There is a thread dated 9-14-07 by vherner that tested 19 lubes. I'm not good at Search Forems, but I got to it by using Key Word opti-lube and then search all forems. Low and behold it popped right up on top.

After you get there click on his "lubricity additive study results-diesel place"



Power Service was in 10th place but it is easy to for me find.

My Ram likes Lucas the best. That stuff flows like corn syrup when cold. Haven't found the winter blend around here, though.

Use Howes or PS in the winter.

i tried mmo for 3 tanks and watched the three following tanks, when i stated the mmo mileage stayed the same as i had been getting on straight ulsd to almost to the 1/10 for all 3 tanks, and oddly enough the 3 tanks of straight ulsd after were about 1 mpg higher, all over my usual daily drive while my truck was my sole transportation after my bmw got totaled
