What kind of oil in rear end?

Opinions on TurboMaster Device?

Has anyone used or using Howe's fuel additive (Howes lubricator one shot diesel treat)? I seen some at my local kenworth place where I get filters & was wondering if anyone knows anything about it? They make some pretty big claims on the label.

Thanks

I haven't used that form of Howe's, i always use the Howe's meaner power cleaner, Have tried the Power Service Diesel Clean i think its called (in a gray bottle) which also works but not as well as the Howe's. I think the Howe's one shot is more of a anti-gel/lubricator additive rather than a lubricator/injector cleaner like the Meaner Power Cleaner. I live in the Dallas TX. area so there isn't really a need for antigel component to much and i see a improvement in the truck after i use the injector cleaner. As far as the Howe's products, they are very good. I hear that many members on TDR use additive at every fill-up, for me i just use injector cleaner every few fill-ups (mainly because the Meaner power cleaner is close to $10 a bottle) and have had no injector problems ( unlike a few friends i know who own powerstrokes!) Up in Colorado where winters get cold the anti-gel component of the Howe's one shot may come in useful.

Rferguson,

Haven't used the Howe's "one shot", but have been using the Howe's anti-gel for about two years now. It's been below zero at night for a couple of nights now and I've had abolutely no problems. Is the "one shot" an anti-gel also?
